I'm loving that not only do they have so many rookies contributing but they also have 3 undrafted kids. Nice finds

Doubt that the advertisers would play along if Ek decided to support the Anti-SOPA movement

I cringe every time I see the name Carter. Whenever that name is uttered, someone unspeakable comes around and tells us how big of a bust he was like anyone still cares.

Yes he did. Its the NMC that I dont like in contracts. Bryzgalov would of never seen that long of a contract if it wasnt for these stupid cap hits. Its part of the game however.

Speakin of which, I just got done reading this about him:

"Newsday calculates that during the past four years, the hoo-doo'ed goaltender has appeared in all of 47 games, winning 14, while being paid $18 million, or a little more than $1.2 million per victory. And there are still nine years left to go on his contract..."

He needs to get as much ice time as he can right now. That goal he scored last night showed a combination of his hard work and hockey sense putting him in the right position and luck being on his side with that flubbed shot making it in. Anything this kid shoots will go in the net right now. What a steal for the Flyers.

Carter 17 points in 30 games and a -9
Couturier 17 points in 40 games and a +13

Coots also plays on a much deeper team... but then again Carter did play here too...
