I'm done talking about jodey shelley he IMO is a wasted roster space.

Let me just say this.

http://www.cbc.ca/sports/.../11/11/rangers021111.html

Does anyone remember this situation with the Rangers almost 10 years ago? After this went down, a rule was put in place to keep this from happening.

End or debate.

That's basically the foundation for my argument against shelley. Like I said from the beginning i have no "hatred" for the guy as Mr. Pannacio implied we fans do. Just wish if he's not going to be a fighter than let's see what one of the kids from the phantoms can give to the team.

The only real issue there is, I like the 4th line of Rinaldo, Couturier, and Zolnerczyuk. But if the Flyers are fully healthy, then someone like Read is moved to the 4th line, and one of Rinaldo or Harry Z is scratched along with Shelley. Now it seems as though they've been able to find enough playing time for bout Rinaldo and Harry Z. I don't want a young player being a regular healthy scratch. And normally, I don't see a need to carry 14 forwards. But since the Flyers are using LTIR, it doesn't have an impact on the Cap. But if they weren't using LTIR, then it's just using up Cap space to carry 14 Forwards.

what the (frank) does that have to do with a simple fight?
How many fights happened this year without that?
you totally blow stuff out of proportion as someone said earlier.

2 things: 1) hall may be done for the year - that's a tough way to go; 2) matsumoto just got traded to Florida.

You aren't letting it go anymore then I am. You haven't broke down specifically who Shelley should go after. You can't just send a goon after someone just to send a goon after someone, which is pretty much what you've been saying. I'm all for Shelley going after Clutterbuck because he deserves it but you can't just send him after anyone. Either you get it or you don't.

Your talking about Taylor Hall? Where did you see this at? TSN doesn't come close to saying that, there's even some discussion of him possibly playing on Thursday.

The young player doesn't have to be a regular healthy scratch if they alternate him in and out of the lineup. For instance, Jagr could be getting healthy and instead of him not letting whatever the heck is wrong with him heal completely you could have wellwood, holmstrom or Testwuide up here logging minutes while a guys like Jagr and JVR healed up instead of having to continually healthy scratch someone whose name i won't say.

you argued back and forth about sending shelley after clutterback then you after MJL pointed out they weren't on the ice for the same time went on to say he couldn't go after him anyway. Now you are saying he should have went after him, make up your mind and get back to me.

I pointed out that it isn't Shelley's job to go after Clutterbuck, anyone could have but I also asked the question of whether or not they were on the ice at the same time long before MJL brought it up.

Yes, they could move a player up and down, but they already have 2 spare forwards. If the Flyers weren't using LTIR, that's exactly what I would do. Call up a player when needed if it's possible. Jagr didn't need to sit out anymore then he did. He got better each game, and before last nights game, some suggested Jagr sit out more. But obviously, he didn't need that.

There's been plenty of spontaneous fights. But teams sending an enforcer out to fight a non enforcer. I don't know. It be easy to find out. Who are the enforcers still left in the League?
