Pommer is a nice player...a good two way player who gives it all he has....most nights...but lately it hasn't been enough and he is by far not an untouchable.....and i still think he was the wrong choice for the C.....he is the least of this teams problems and i's hate to see him go....but if he landed us a big fish so be it! - aschwach
Shame on you for saying anything like this!
He has elevated his game compared to most on this team. He's trying to lead by example on the ice. He shouldn't have to be in the room explaining to the rest of the guys why they should care. It's their job. They should go out and do what's expected.
Sorry, but this has driven away most of the serious fans of the game. When will the grownups shut this down?
Garth and others repeatedly try to make a serious attempt at analysis and reporting and discussion, and this is what now dominates on the Hockeybuzz Sabres blog? Many of us who love the game expect way more insight and intelligence and street-smarts from Sabres fans, not all this cocky know-it-all drivel that is an utter waste of time and not amusing at all. - BaltimoreSabresFan
Whoever they were, the Detroit announcers last night knew their stuff. It was a pleasure to listen to their call, although the game was terrible. Sabres coaching probably would benefit by listening to it. Unlike the constant "the sky is falling" drumbeat at the BN.
Check out the posts before and after my temper tantrum -- you are welcome. Here's hoping for a clear W tomorrow night in Chicago, the first of many. - BaltimoreSabresFan
Bless your heart. you are the one user that does not wish for an 8-1 thumping

Tonight's long distance dedication goes out to you sir!
Out for a bit. Can't sit at home and chat with you all the time. As enjoyable as it is. I need real human interaction once in a while. - HonkFortheGoose
I run the streets early now on my days off, to the point where I am home by 11

i did say he is the least of their problems and i'd hate to see him go! but i never thought he was the right choice for the C, only a few guys in the league can lead purely by example....an at this point no one is untouchable......Vanek, Myers (maybe) again....POMMER is the least of their issues and he is having a excellent season but he isnt exactly putting the team on his back either...'

I still think it's a common misconception that the 'regulars' on here don't have lives. I may post on here a lot, but I still go to classes 4 days a week, work 25 hours a week, hang out with friends and family, etc.
I just love talking hockey, especially with you guys and girls
