Could be Burke sparking interest and forcing someone's hand on a potential deal that hasn't been finalized. We all know Burke like to get his stuff done early while other GM's might wait to get better value. If they think their dance partner is gone they may rush things. Not saying this is true but if I'm buying something expensive I want to take uncle Burkie with me.

That being said: Schenn/Kadri/Grabo and a first would have to go to Anaheim for Getzlaf, Ryan maybe cheaper. To Anaheim to take back Salary would cost us Colbourne.

Columbus may want youth and non roster players and to lower themselves for the coming free agent market.

Staal I can't picture being moved. His cap hit is way high to bargain with for players

If a deal cannot be made while holding on to one of Kadri or Colbourne, you don't make the deal. IMO

You are right. If Kadri and Schenn sit there is either a trade happening OR both are untouchables.

You would never make some one a healthy scratch that you are trying to trade.

ok this keeps being said and it is dead wrong. First up, they are NOT shopping Schenn. Only way he gets traded is if a team demands him iin a major deal.

And if that is the case, Schenn would absolutely be scratched, as the team involved in the trade would insist he's out of the lineup to avoid the risk of injury (assuming the trade is imminent).

Not as great as the new Ford Edge.

I agree ...for now he's doing what Armstrong was supposed to be doing.

Lombardi is a waste ...especially with Bozak back in the lineup.
