A couple of weak goals.

Horrible reffing.

Meh, we knew the fair reffing was too good to last.

I think they should just crash the season, and trade off some players for picks/prospects and keep the main players.

In fairness, two of those goals were not Reimer's fault.

Yeah, the third was a back-breaker, just as the softie Gustavsson allowed vs. NYR.

But we got stiffed on the tying goal, and Lupul shouldn't have taken Turris into our own net.

That's a tough save with Turris flying into your leg to interfere with your positioning.

And absolutely no goalie in the world would have saved the second. That was a physical impossibility.

Well 10 days ago they were talking about shooting for home ice in the playoffs, so I doubt you'll see that happen.

I don't necessarily disagree with you though......same old, same old. Burke and Co. have yet to top JFJ's top year for christ sakes.

How much does it take to interfere with a goalie? You don't need to be on your ass to have difficulty making a save.

It's a game of split-seconds and inches. The timing was terrible and Lupul played his man wrong.

Side-note: why was Lupul down that deep in his own zone?

Nothing like a look at the standings to make Philly and Vancouver feel a little better.

Burke didn't get a Sundin to work with. A consistent PPG centre with size (who used it).

Is that deal for Getzlaf still on the table? Anything it takes. Kadri, Schenn, Franson, Gunnar, picks, whatever.
