brown can handle neil....besides, neil is too busy playing solid hockey lately.
carkner and konopka wont see enough minutes to warrant rosehills waste of ice time. - Barx
Not a chance ...Neil has too much size and weight on him ...it would be deflating for the bench to watch. Konopka yes ...Neil no. Although I'd sit Lombardi over Kadri.

Brown is a much better skater than Neil. I've never held Neil in high regard

i said handle, not beat...besides, neil doesn't need to be that guy, he's playing big minutes and I'm sure maclean would rather a meathead like konopka sit in the box.
He sure does. Guy's smart with the puck, and gets his shots through to hit the net, something Dion seems to have trouble with.
I'm happy Ian's found a home. I liked him - AngryWhiteMale
Okay, I'm sorry I don't mean to be a homer or anything like that but I have had it with this trend. Why do people always say that about Dion? I understand people making this comment last year when he wasn't scoring much at the beginning and his shots would always seem to sail high. But this year I am actually impressed at his ability to get the puck on net. It's like he'll get 6 in a row on net, he'll miss one then everyone will say "OH CLASSIC DION, MISSING THE NET". I just checked, he is FOURTH amongst all Dmen for shots....so does he need to be in the top 3 for you to stop saying he has trouble hitting the net?
so this benching of schenn comes on the heels of Komisarek's worst game of the season and one of his worst as a leaf?
Schenn leads the team in +/- and is second in the league in hits for defensemen in very limited minutes. A lot of times his partner has made mistakes and for some reason he has been taking the blame all season - mycokes
I've been more forgiving of Luke Because his upside is greater than Komi, and because he is still young.
I admit I'm baffled at his performance so far, and wouldn't cry at him being moved for the right price. That said, I'm still confident he'll live up to his potential regardless of where he ends up
Smells like a trade is all but done. It seems that Kadri would be a natural, with his uptempo game, against the Senators. Schenn also, is a head scratcher, because he usually has better games against Ottawa. Something is happening. Why Gardiner in, since he hasn't played an NHL game for a while? Probably some cap issues with whoever we are dealing with. Possibly the need to play another game or two, to balance the cap hit.

Neil's been great ...especially against the Leafs. Maybe Rosehill gets him off his game a bit.

hitting hard, going to the net.....
believe me, i hate to admit it. - Barx
He is tripping by the boards and accidentally bumping into people and around the net he is asking for autographs from the goalie.. there problem solved
