Buying kernels of corn is the best. We bought a bag for like $1.50 and it's made probably 15 bags worth of popcorn already and we STILL have enough for a couple more. And it's just as fast. Just put some oil in a pot, add popcorn, put lid and put on stove. Fiance makes it perfect every time.

yeah with no wasted kernels!! its awsome.. toss 3 or 4 kernals in about 1/8" of oil and wait for them to pop, when they do.. toss the rest in.. its so much better than microwave and yes .. ITS FAR CHEAPER

I'm not totally sure how the fiance does it, all I know is it burned the first time she ever did it but since then it's been perfect.

And we don't use regular butter or margarine usually. Right now we have "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" which is healthier than butter or margarine since it's some sort of vegetable based thing.

I was also trying to think of the name of the brand of stew! to put on my list. I used to live on that stuff... that even lasted into my 30's.

True ...unlike KD which is impossible to improve upon. I've been to virtually all the d'town resto's where it's trendy to have their own form of Mac n' Cheese on the menu and none do it justice ...none.
