Why snap? What have either done to earn his spot lately?

Schenn needs a break from the distractions and time to settle his game down. Kadri needs to be reminded that he isn't the best stick handler in the world from time to time.

There are two Kadris: one uses his quick feet and good skating to generate offense and force defenders to take penalties. The other relies almost exclusively on his nifty hands, not realizing that the moves that beat OHLers and AHLers don't work all that well in the big leagues.

I have honestly had it with the way Ron Wilson has handled Luke Schenn. It is a joke. If he gets traded, he is going to play the big minutes he deserves and be an amazing defenceman. Here he gets benched when he makes the most minor errors, and plays much less than he should. I've always thought his offensive game is underrated too, he gets pucks to the net and makes smart passes. The fact that Wilson constantly plays Komi over him, even after a billion of errors is just rediculous.

It's true that he drew the penalty, but then proceeded to turn it over several times on the ensuing power play when we were trying to set up in the zone.

Last year Luke got the big minutes and Komi didn't. This season Luke has been struggling defensively. He isn't playing as sound defensively as he can and should be. So his minutes get reduced. Wilson is in a position where he needs to make the playoffs. And in order to do that right now, Luke needs to either a) pick up his game or b) be sat down for a game or 2 so he can re-find his game.

Komisarek has been MUCH better this season than last season. And he deserves to get more minutes. And with Schenn playing poorly he just happens to take minutes away from Luke.
