And also Kessel > Parise, dont care what you say, Kessel hasnt even reached his potential yet, if the devils turned down that deal they are crazy, mind you i dont think BB will go that deep unless its a sign and trade.

With regards to Parise wanting to play for a contending team, if he came to Toronto for the deal listed above then they would be a contending team, maybe not this year, but in the next 2-3 years, for sure.

Not really. If that what it takes to acquire the best american player that burke would throw everything at, then he will do that. I know how everyone is mentioning schenn but i cant see burke trading him. There is something he values about schenn alot and why he accompanied him during the afghan trip. Burke even said he will not trade him. So dont see how he would be traded. We have alot of prospects and players and draft picks that could easily persuade NJ.

Scrivens is underrated and could be a help to NJ. Kulemin will play along kovalchuk(russians), Franson is a decent defender and has been underrated playing with the leafs/great for the powerplay. 1st Rounder in the 2012 draft good draft, and Kadri. I doubt leafs will have to add more but if they do id still be down
