If this is the route the Preds take then don't look forward to the Flyers dumping major assets (JVR/Bob) right now...They will probably trade for someone like Gleason...

That was my point... the other guy said that if Boston didnt draft Seguin it was highway robbery... i think they still robbed us even if they drafted the people i named... which once again supports my other post that schenn kadri and 1st should without a doubt get parise.... and dont get me wrong, i dont like that trade, and i wouldnt be ecstatic if it happened either, but when a guy like that is up for grabs sometimes you have to overpay a bit. If you look around the league alot of teams would covet the likes of Schenn, at 22 he's got huge trade value, young D Men in this league are worth a pretty penny. I dont even want the leafs to go after Parise if it cost Schenn, if Luke were to leave TO i would be upset if it were for anything less than a #1 centre(of course we have to do Schenn +++)

However, the Leafs are keeping tabs on some other big names as well...Rick Nash, Getzlaf, Doan, Perry, and Possibly Eric Staal (although I am not 100% convinced on that front) are all on the radar for teams interested in Parise.

lol.. so the blues are going to trade halak.. who has indeed taken his #1 spot back from elliott. hasn't lost a game in regulation in his last 11. for who exactly? kessel? who on the leaf's makes the blues better right now than halak?

trading elliott with his current value makes a lot more sense. but i don't think that'll be happening anytime soon either
