Nothing says mis management more than allowing rolston to play regular shifts on this team. He is by far the worst islander I've seen in 20 years. Yes some guys were crappier talents and so forth but no player has cared less than rolston. It's a disgrace and any other professional team wouldn't allow him in the same building. His effort is a joke and I get angry looking at him. At least guys like tambellini and sim gave everything they had. I'd much rather see hunter or sim out there. Guys that at least have a pulse and heart. Complete disgrace that this bumhole still plays big minutes. I stick up for snow because I think Wang has him handcuffed somewhat but f you on this one snow. You have ulstrom cizikas rhakshani all in the bridge that would play their balls off for you yet this old selfish douche throws pucks on net from center ice , doesn't try on defense yet he is a great leader. Just because you are old doesn't mean you are a good leader. No non move has pissed me off this much ever. It's a perfect example of how disfunctional and inconsistent our management is. You think cappy wants him on the second line? Put anyone out there with parenteau. They will score more.

I got the free ticket voucher at the game today for next week's game against Toronto...should I go? Or will it be uninspired hockey like today was?

You guys just dont understand the leadership this guy brings to the arena night in & night out... he may be the best leader since Leonidas, Mark Messier has a Brian Rolston poster on his wall.. He doesn't look good out there because he has to play with all these players that are light years below him talent wise.

We put a lot of shots on the board but I feel like most (excluding PP time) were perimeter, easy to handle shots.

Nice play by Staios on the 2nd or 3rd goal by NSH

Does he need to hold onto the boards or something? Stay on your feet

I just knew there was a reason the team keeps playing him. Thank You for pointing it out.

I'm sick of Rolston carrying the puck over the blue line and taking a slapper to the crest or putting the puck behind the net and retreating. If I was his linemates I wouldn't pass to him in the neutral zone anymore. The guy is about as creative offensively as a tree.

I hear you guys on Rolston, but he is hardly your team's problem. Sounds like Rolston is the new Hunter? Well, if so, he's gone, and your team still sucks. Therefore, maybe it wasn't Hunter? And maybe it's not all on Rolston?

Rolston will not be sent down. In fact look for him to be re signed next year at a smaller cap hit. Management likes his leadership.
- mighty13duck

Are you serious with that comment or are you just looking ot stir the pot? Rolston is garbage. F his "leadership". What "leadership"? Showing the kids how to suck and be useless? If they bring back Rolston on any deal the team is sending the message that they're content to fail, to tread water and wallow in the basement for another year. Eventually, the fans are going to take that mindset to task and completely bail on this team, if they haven't already.

Hunter played 17 games last year. I'm pretty sure no one thinks he was the reason the Isles finished where they did.

No one said he was the problem with the team, but he is a problem none the less.. he is worthless on the ice & gets too many important mins... mins that could go to some kid that needs the Exp
