Everyone have already written the ducks off this year. Remember the Devils last year making the run and just narrowly missing the playoffs? I think the Ducks could pull that off!

Ha Ha, I pulled off the upset and beat Gunner. The score could not have been closer but a win is a win.

Ouch. That is a standing changer.

Although Walshy got thumped again. Must be busy thinking about sex.

I honesty feel that part of the reason he is so fragile is that the Oilers for years have lacked toughness to defend him. Robyn Rehger could have his way with Hemsky and their was no answer. One thing the Penguins do well is they defend their talent. When Hemsky shredded his shoulder on a hit from behind by Michael Handzus that when it occurred the Oilers just stood their and watched. If someone runs Crosby or Malkin or the Reverend Lovejoy from behind the Penguins answer right away. It doesn't prevent the initial hit, but it does prevent incidents in following games which can prevent injuries.

I'm not a huge supporter of Hemsky, but I believe that if he had that change of scenery and was put into a place where he didn't have the expectations of being the main offensive force he would thrive.

I'd be happier if the Penguins tried to get him as a UFA instead of through a trade though.

Exactly ... why give up anything of note (good young talent) for a UFA in this instance?

An actual low bridge move is the stunt Marchand pulled the other game against Vancouver.

What Malkin did today isn't even in the same stratosphere.

Yes, thats what I was thinking. Glad to get a win against Tampa after last year's loss in playoffs. They are really struggling.

We're not getting Hemsky as a free agent since we wont have the cap space to sign him to a higher contract. Wish we did but we dont.

So, Giants beat the Packers? WTF happened there? I was on the road from Alexandris, VA and missed it.

Green Bay had about 10 drops, and they couldn't stop NY if the 1st half. NY hit a hail mary at the end of the 1st Half to go up 10.

Rusty Packers, looked like a team that hadn't played for a while. And the Giants D was ready to play.

Also helps when you get a hailmary bounce your way

The old Hail Mary eh? Funny. Never thought the Packers would lose. Pretty shocking.

Welcome to the danger zone...my team has been struggling of late though. Ive been making an effort to build my team up to compete with JT and Gunner. It has come at the expense of my G and A. Still need a goalie and madcap2008 wont update his team or counter my trade offers
