Anyone notice Glen Sather in the GMs box last night, the guy looks like he finds hockey to be the most boring thing in the world and is just waiting for his nurse to bring the next round of meds. Also what is the point of having a cigar in your mouth constantly if it's not lit? I never understood that. Burkie just always looks like he's angry and wants to fight someone. My favourite hockey personality facial expression by far though is Mike Babcock. Next time you see Babcock on the bench, check it out. He always looks like he's trying to remember where he left his keys and it's driving him crazy.

Might not be a bad fit. Not being a puppet for MLSE, plus he can finally do what needs to be done in Columbus aside from Nash. Draft properly, which IMO JFJ was pretty good at.

Think there is any way shape of form that you could envision where Sutter takes over the GM in LA? There are some nice pieces there that Burke could rape them for!!

If that is indeed true, could this be a prelude to opening up a roster position for a trade? Could have sent him down, anytime, in the last few days. It wasn't like the Leafs were that far away and couldn't have recalled someone, if there had been an injury. Watch out today.

Probably not. Because if Holzer is recalled, then there isnt a roster spot anymore.


They sent him down, because Burke told Wilson if Gardiner isnt playing, he'll be sent down. Because he cant be sitting in the press box for long.

Garioch is always on top of things... so expect this to go down Ryan doesn't makes as much sense for the Leafs as Getzlaf.

Hate to burst everyone's bubble...but no major trades will be taking place in leafland this year....
