I can't wait until Avery is gone. Now this guy I would love at the deadline, said it from the beginning.

Prospal would be nice, he knows the guys, he knows the system and he was such an emotional leader last year.

I just noticed this little conversation on Dancin Larry's facebook:

Henry Booke: How would you feel about starting a protest rally to bring Avery back to Broadway where he belongs?
Thursday at 10:12pm ยท Like.

Bryan Russo: I would love to! But, I think too many so called "fans" stopped caring because we're winning...And Torts the genius will NEVER let that happen..
Thursday at 10:14pm

Henry Booke Very true, the fact that I want him back here has nothing to do with the team winning though, I'm as happy as I've ever been in my life with this team right now, I just want him back here because he belongs here and him being here is the only thing that has to happen for everything to be perfect with this team. Of course Torts wouldn't let it happen, but what could he do to stop a protest rally?

Jimbo weren't we having that conversation with that dude Bryan Russo one day? The name seems familiar... I remember that douche really wanting Avery and you owning him numerous times.

No doubt Prospal would be welcomed back with open arms.

Sather mentioned the other day that he doesn't want to affect the chemistry of this team, and bringing back Prospal can only help.

In fact, be nice if they could acquire him before tonight's game to be honest.

LOVED Vinny too, he would be just as good as us wanting Doan here, perfect fit and for cheap too most likely. Other than the PP our only problem I see is more scoring from the top 6, but if we get the goaltending & the D like we have, the timely goals from our lunch pail crew should be enough.

I CANNOT wait till next Saturdays game with Boston, gonna be a real measuring stick.

Clarke MacArthur on Rangers: "It's a tough style. You can see why they win a lot of games. They try and bore you out of the rink almost."

(frank) off MacArthur, ya wiener!

I love the haters! As soon as you play sound defense & have great goaltending your automatically called boring. I'll take our "boring" style all the way to the Stanley Cup Thank You.

Strange that MacArthur would say #NYR "bore you out of the rink." Isn't that what the Leafs did to the paying customers last night?

Well there ya have it!

What if the Isles were the team Sather said was interested in claiming Avery off re-entry waivers? Watch how quick he would be the Isles fans favorite player if that happened, in a red hot second.

Suddenly all those Leaf trolls who were hooting & hollering about beating us twice are nowhere to be found today.

I think of all the games this season, I am most proud of the effort they gave last night.

And it shows how great this coaching staff is too, because they adjusted the game plan against a team that made them look bad for a lot of the two previous meetings.

They need to keep passing like that. Its AMAZING how easy it is to score when you actually pass the puck around more than once.

True, they dictated the way the game was gonna be, initiating the flow, hit em hard, hit em over & over again, they really dominated a speedy team in their building. I can't say enough about TORTS, the guy has "his" team playing his way.

Exactly! I'd rather have someone who could bring something more to the team than just the "If we get to a shootout" theme. The guy is horrible except for 3 games a year.

No, he would not become a fan fav like he was on B'way. Too much history...too many intangibles. We've had/have more than our fair share of characters.

HOWEVER, if you could prove that Garth asked Glen for such a thing, I would give EK/Hockey Buzz permission to release my email/identity whereupon I would gladly kiss your ass in Macy's window. Then I would have a NYR logo tattooed on my arm. That's how sure I am it would never happen.
