great overall effort tonight. the defense was outstanding and we totally dominated toronto physically. Now on to Montreal

I believe Maloney said he wouldn't trade Turris but left open the possibility he would if and when he re-signed. I can't remember how he phrased it but that's what I recall he meant.

I really think unless Phoenix collapses or Doan asks for a deal he will stay a Coyote.

Avery would probably be claimed if called up on re-entry waivers (based on the rumors and Larry Brooks). EC is horrible...I'd rather skate Newbury.

Still plenty of season to go but so far so really, really good for the Rangers.

To this point they have exceeded even the most optimistic fan's expectations.

The leadership, within the locker room, has been much better this season too. Veterans like Richards and Rupp, coming in here, have made a difference with this team.

The players form last season, for the most part, have really stepped up and taken more responsibility here as well. Tortorella has done an unbelievable job but a lot of the credit has to go to the players here as well.

They have really come together, through the first 42 games here.
