We lose 2 in a row. It happens.

But at least we aren't Montreal.

Ottawa keeps rolling, piling up the points... fck me Toronto is cursed .. Ottawa sucked for 1 season
- senstroll

Ottawa won't win any cups this season.

They won't be nearly as good next year. Things have snowballed for them in the right direction. I don't think it will continue.

Shows what a good coach can do for a team though.

they dont have to win a cup, they are much better and much more fun to watch than Toronto, I would take that.

I agree on the coach.. I hate Wilson

They're just rolling with the momentum. They got on a good streak and are hosting the ASG in a few weeks so I guess you could say they're pumped up.

Wilson seems totally incapable of getting everything to work at the same time.

I can't recall a time since he's been here that our PK, PP, defensive system, and offense were all clicking together consistently.

No we won't win the cup for a few years but maybe Burke can give Murray a call on how to rebuilt a team

thats load of sh!t ... the players that are helping them win are not the ones that he got for the "rebuild" .. Karlson, Spezza, Michalek, Alfag ... He had them long before the "rebuild" started

throw in Philips, Gonchar, Kuba etc.. Ottawa is a Veteran team... Burke had to tear down the whole team and start over, there is probably 2 players left from when he took over. Murray had a lot of key pieces already in place

For sure ,our core no offense was better than the leafs for a while after the lockout. He is just using his vets now as stop gap players until other younger players are ready .The signing of gonchar was a prime example of ottawa,s foray into the fa market, short term high dollar contracts to help keep the team afloat while ottawa bought time for some youth to emerge.

I expect ottawa to sign a simmerlar type contract with another younger but simmerlar type defensman to offst the loss of kuba to FA as he is just getting too old

But guys, according to HonestHockey, Leafs dont need a physical top line center.

We need a 2nd line winger...

Ah typical jbold. Little (frank)in wussy. I go to the Barrie game and he's on here stabbing me in the back. Man our first line has been a huge problem all year. Seriously. Leafs full team to Anaheim for Getzlaf. Jesus. Love one line Stanley Cup champions. You're one clueless (frank).

Give the kid some credit... your "h's" in your name are lowercase. He capitalized them. Proves he looks up to you.
