My personal feelings about the JVR thing (after seeing a replay of the hit from Butler) - JVR is acting. Early last season JVR had a concussion, he knows the tests, he knows the symptoms, he could easily re-fail the tests.

In my opinion, he heard the trade rumors and he doesn't want to leave NJ...can't cut the umbilical cord with his mommy.

Just my opinion.

Well, you know what they say about opinions..

It shouldn't make a high priced defenseman the primary target at all. They should get a low priced rental and fight with what they have now, and see where Pronger is this summer. Then go for Ryan Suter, when he won't cost assets.

This is a young team with a big window, no reason to go for a quick fix now.

Besides, this isn't a game of REAL MEN any more. Real men didn't wear helmets, and didn't whine - I'm not singling out any specific player. In fact, back in the day, goalies didn't wear masks. Imagine that.
