after the first period you would have thought the Wings would have won 10-0, the Hawks get a bounce and the game turns around.

There was a fair bit of iron rung by Detroit today too.

That really stinks about JVR being injured, I'm really even more annoyed at Potvin now for questioning whether JVR actually got hit during the game. Totally unprofessional on his part and rather suprising because he played in the league.

As much as I like Gleason, do they really need Ruutu? I kind of like Beauchemin better. I would be willing to give up a decent draft pick and Phantom for him. Certainly Homer and Murray have a history of dealing.

No question. Crawford has played a really good game though.

Hawks lucky to get a point (or more) out of this one though. 2 flukey goals. But they all count I guess.

I disagree. The Wings didn't put a shot on net for more then half of the 3rd. They say back in my opinion. If they lose, they lose in Flyers fashion and it's well deserved against the Wings. This game is up for grabs.

I don't think I have ever seen a game where they dont ring it once.

Brilliant...you traded two good young players and instead of just needing another top 4 defenseman, you also need a winger.

Ruutu is a really good player. He would be a nice fit for the Flyers. That package of Gleason and Ruutu would require significant assets going to Carolina.

Bertuzzi is still a heck of a player.

That was a great game to watch. Nicely played by Chicago and Detroit.

Oh I agree. He's in a supporting role but he's an important guy for the Wings. I think he's a UFA and I have no doubt he'll stay there.

I think he's much more then a supporting player. He is playing on the Wings top line.
