Yes he does seem to have a lot of trouble with these type of goals. Rupp's second goal was a classic example.

- LJF

yeah, that was sickening. I bet a few players on the Flyers bench were thinking "wtf was that?"

Not true, you still have to have the raw talent and natural ability. That can't be corrected over time. Some guys never develop, and some do. No reason why Bobrovsky can't improve his weaknesses like any other player.
- MJL

nor is it a given that he can improve, either.

No worries Mookster. I just scoured all 30 NHL rosters, and every team has had at least 5 guys go down this year due to concussion, so it's a League wide issue.
- PLindbergh31

In all seriousness its Bry's fault. Bottom line, hell Bryz is the reason the puck got deflected on crawford and det scored a PP goal.

Nope it's not. But why not think positive. The talent is there.

I have to work tonight, I fully expect a Bryz shutout. (Flyers 5-4 win).

The two silver linings regarding JVR's injury is maybe a few weeks off the ice will improve his hip and abdominal injuries, as well as Read gets to move back up into the top 9, he didn't deserve to get moved to the 4th line.

I still like a 4th line of Couturier, Rinaldo, and Harry Z.

Bertuzzi probably has the best hands of any big man in the league.

Listening to the chatter while the game is going on makes me miss the good old days. This is the way it should be done...

Detroits puck movement on the PP is ridiculous.

I think I like this lineup better than the one vs. the Isles.

What happened to playing the hot hand (Bob)? Not sure why Lavy is going back to Bryz tonight!

Wings have won 13 in a row at home. Wings outshooting the Hawks 19-4. Dismantling them in every aspect of the game.

Sitting Bryz 3 games in a row is a bit much I guess. Who knows. If they lose tonight and he doesn't play well it will be back to the carousel nonsense.

With JVR hampered by injuries, I can understand that way of thinking.

Odd Couple rules. And the movie with Lemon and Matthau is an all time classic.

- PLindbergh31

I loved that show. Both movies were great.

True story. I was an extra on set with Randall and Klugman when they filmed "The Odd Couple: Together Again" tv movie here in Vancouver back in '93. I actually have an autographed 8x10 of Randall somewhere in the basement. Very cool seeing those guys live.

Chicago is getting dominated so far but there still is two periods of hockey to play.
