I don't necessarily agree with the whole thing, cause I do beleive Bob has been solid, but there is merit to the idea that letting Bryz start vs some weaker opponents to gain some confidence.

I honestly believe that by playing weaker teams Bob looks slightly better than he really is. He's played well ... but until he plays well against the Bruins and the Rangers of the league I will have my doubts.

If Bryz had gotten a few starts against some of the bottom feeders I'd bet he would have posted better numbers than Bob.

I honestly believe that by playing weaker teams Bob looks slightly better than he really is. He's played well ... but until he plays well against the Bruins and the Rangers of the league I will have my doubts.

The Schenn for JVR rumor doesn't seem like it has legs to it however, Schenn is a very good defense-man and he is also a very young player. Considering that he has played at a very high level in Torornto I wouldn't be so opposed to getting him. Right now it seems as though Schenn would benefit from a change of scenery and the chance to play with his brother. People shouldn't forget that if Schenn is traded for JVR another player would most likely be coming back in the deal for Toronto.

No these players skulls aren't made out of eggshells. What is happening is that the NHL is more aware of concussions, the symptoms, and the diagnosis, and treatment of them. Players that would normally play through them, aren't anymore. It's progress in the overall treatment of concussions.
