Kane for Doan?
Ek, you dumb a$$ fawking fraud. No "source" would ever tell you that. Only your feeble fantasy world would ever conceive that as something remotely possible. No doubt Winnipeg and Doan would make a cool story, but on no planet would they give up a player like Kane.
I regret making a rare visit to see the Cammy buzz (which you also totally epically failed on) just to see that load of horse$hit.
I used to rather enjoy chatting with all the other lunatics on this site, but as your hack job roomers got stupider and more desperate, I found I could no longer accept adding to your hit count and revenue.
Feel free to give me my first ban - it won't matter - I won't be back. (Except maybe to add the odd "KABOOM" on Vetter's blogs.) - RinkLighter

6M cap hit, 7M per year in salary, not easy to find a taker IMO, MTL didn't want a lot of salary in return either, they need cap space for Price - Symba007
Right, so they would rather have Kaberle than Cammalleri? |

Quick trade feedback needed please.
Which side wins these trades and by how much? Which do you like better?
Trade A: Doughty/Halak for Bobby Ryan/Skinner
or
Trade B: Doughty/Halak for Bobby Ryan/Jagr?
Cheers. - As_I_See_It
put me on the doughty/halak side. but more importantly it depends on your league's rules and more specifically your team's needs. |

Skins!
Edit: I meant I like the deal with Skinner invovled. I don't like the moves like Jagr deal. |

Wrong. Apparently Burke would have pulled the trigger already if it was just schenn for jvr. The flyers want schenn + top 9 forward in return. Even though it sounds slightly lopsided schenn has never proven to be a top pair dman, looking more in the 3-5 range which is still good and something the flyers need. Jvr has shown the ability to be a top 6 forward as well as a game changer. Before you go saying jvr is having a bad season, he's still in double digits for goals and assist while playing 3/4 of this season with an injury. You can see he can't skate correctly right now. Jvr will eventually be an annual 30 goal guy. I dont buy into the 40 goal thing but he will be a game changing forward with his size speed and skill. |

I would say neither. I think Bobby is going to turn it on the second half. unless you are trying to get Ryan, then I would say the one with Ryan and Skinner. (skinner is coming back her in the next few weeks.) |

JVR has shown flashes, yes, but he hasn't proven anything either. Niklas Hagman shows flashes of offensive brilliance at times, the key is being consistently brilliant, which JVR hasn't yet been able to do in this league. Sure, Schenn hasn't proven he's going to be a top pair shutdown D-man, but he's definitely shown flashes, but has lacked the consistency; just like JVR. |

didn't ek tweet that he was hearing fla and cbj right before everyone came out with calgary? - RealityChecker
I wouldn't be surprised. I would never follow that clown's tweets. Maybe If I had seen one single vague rumour become reality in nearly 2 years I would. |

You need to believe me that I'm NOT trolling Sabres fans here....but does anyone truly believe Myers will get Getzlaf in a 1 for 1? Wouldnt he still be considered mostly unfulfilled potential at this point?! I'd be SHOCKED if the Sabres didn't have to add something significant to this... |

Absolutely. A few years ago Hags was up for goal of the year when he walked out from the corner and undressed the whole team and scored.
Consistency is key. |

lol,
ya there was something but if you go onto the pens website and read what the players said, there was nothing of that nature..
they werent holding secret meetings about a new captain or saying anything like that... media was wrong... go figure.. |

my reasoning was that d points and goalie wins are harder to replace than forward points. i know that both doughty and halak have had disappointing starts but so has ryan (and skins' concussion scares me). halak is trending upwards and the st. louis system will keep his GAA down and save % up.
like i said earlier, it depends on the guy's needs. i just find that f's are easier to replace than d or g's in fantasy leagues. |
