So let's see Daigle drafted in 1993 Stefan 1999
And in that period there have been 90 top 5 picks so the other 88 top 5 picks say hi.
2 out of 90 flops....I'll take my chances - braidan
Turris, Pouliot, Brassard (I think) and many others disagree.
Edit: meh, Brassard was number 6. |

OK so why don't we just trade our 1st for an established player?
Plek + our next 2 1sts for Getzlaf |

my fear is that price is the only legit goalie with the 4 teams at the bottom there. Could cost us a few draft positions, other than ward in car, but they are terrible |

I think this the only time I would prefer Plekanec at the point : 2nd PP unit Moen-Eller-Kostitsyn-Weber-Plekanec. |

They should fired Timmins or hired somebody to help him out and keep their picks. Getzlaf is not worth that much at this point in his career. |

How many #1s do they need to draft to win? What year will it happen in? 2017?Look at EDM, Eberle, Hall, MPS, RNH yadda yadda...will they win one before all those contracts get overbearing? Chi did it and Pitt did it. Its gonna be what its gonna be...hoping for them to 'tank' is unseemly.
Hoping for them to get some decent management in there that understand cap issues and 'todays' NHL is a different subject. Fan support in MTL needs to stop focusing on the players and focus more on mgmt decisions. That includes that ridiculous Kaberle contract in the shoot out. |

edm wont be in cap issues for a while. By the time the kids need a contract, horcoff and smyth won't be there and thats close to 11 million i think. |
