I could understand the concern if he was tearing it up in the AHL, but since he isnt it pretty much leaves only one reason he even gets mentioned.

Because lets face it, this team is closer to a bebuild then a stanley cup winner. So instead of trading the kid for nothing like we did with ryan mcdonaugh, we should try him out in a postition where he can succeed. Putting him on the 4th line where he gets 6 minutes of playing time doesn't do that. Don'tg do it now, but in march when we are 10 points out of the playoffs, what would it hurt to try him there?

Only way we put him in a position to succeed is to trade him. LOL. He doesnt need to be on the 4th wasting away either. Hence why he is in Hamilton playing on the top lines there i hope.
