if the Habs get the 1st pick (which they won't) they should draft Grigerenko...

I'm surprised at your view of the trade. Your analysis is completely incorrect, IMO.
- hscesq

I don't think any team won this trade. I think both teams sorta got parts / things they wanted.

How the players actually play will decide if there is really a winner.

Not sure how any of that is wrong.

Feel free to believe whatever you want.

unless Mtl lucks out during the lottery they're not picking top 5.
- habby

Tamap and Carolina will both pass the habs by the end of the year. Maybe the Oilers if they can get Eberle and Hopkins back soon.

It as also been repeated by other "informed journalist.. not blogers" that GM's did received word that CAmmy was availlable months ago.

But I guess you prefer to disregard that info and keep on saying that he did this traded blinded by a big bag of popcorn

so it's even, but no one wins. PG is awful, but maybe he could have made an even bigger higher risk deal? Am I missing anything?

I couldn't care less about Bourque, he's a 3rd liner being paid like a 3rd liner who can move up onto the top 2 lines occasionally.

i like the cap space and the pick, that's why it's a good deal for Mtl, they needed both badly.

- habby

Rene Boutque's nameplate is up in #Habs dressing room between Eller and Moen

No.

I am responding based on tweets from guys like Lebrun and Bob MK.

But whatever.

- JDJ

He stated this morning he doesn't think it's a bad deal for Mtl.

I dunno about the 3rd liner part... 27 goals make him a first/2nd line player for the HAbs.

I agree about TB, but Carolina is still behind them and have played 2 more games. Maybe they will maybe they won't.

What I am curious to know is what was holding up the deal, and what did the deal look like before the poop storm yesterday.
