I saw the Steve Wilkos show (worst show ever), and they had a a father on and they did you beat your kid? He said no, So Steve says well you admitted you smacked his butt, and that's child abuse blah blah blah did his whole beat you ass routine. I changed the channel
This is what things have come to, go talk your kid and tell him not to do it again, then buy him something.

I didn't get hit when I was a child, but when I would push the limits one of my folks would yank me by the shirt and tell me what's what. I never caused my folks much trouble, and they never caused me much grief, I have great parents.

My mom used to smack my hand. She'd put my hand in hers, then overhand slap my hand inbetween. Worst was when I'd be acting up "Do you want me to tell your father when he gets home?" (frank) NO! DON"T DO THAT!

I remember where if I had a choice of the cops being called or my folks the choice was easy......call the cops.
If you so much as raise your voice to a child in public then people get upset, but oddly enough the ones getting upset have no kids while other parents understand completely.

When my kids were younger and we'd go shopping they would take off in different directions, after awhile we got these kiddie leashes (great invention) non-parents thought it was cruel and wrong, other parents wanted to know where we got them.

My folks gave me a lot of rope, but I knew that and tried not to (frank) it up, we have a good relationship, no secrets, except for my little experimenting with psychedelics, which isn't all that much.
