Oh boy that is a tough one. I would go with right now REasoner. Rolston at least has some points. and Sim at least took stupid penalties
- kasperrko

If you played every PP on the first unit YOU would have some points too! Never give that turd credit for anything, he's a waste!

Oh boy you went there. Ok knowing this organization he will be in the Hall of Fame I can actually see that happening. I sure hope not as he has done crap for us but I can see that. I would protest that ceremony to no end
- kasperrko

Sadly I could see them doing it too!!! Unreal

What makes a great Islander?

Personally I was a fan of Flats so I have no issues with it.

I bet if they decided to induct him, the place would be half empty. As it should be.

What's that supposed to mean?

Edit: Personally I could care less about the Islanders HOF. But if they're going to pick someone from each decade as someone else mentioned, I don't see who else you would pick over Flats.

I loved Benoit Hogue his speed great hands and could finish on a breakaway. Calling Grabner give this guy a call would ya
- kasperrko

And you could sometimes still to this day play with Benoit in Long Beach and Dix Hills!!! Good guy and player!

Sweet yeah he was always a good guy to be honest. I would love him to coach Grabner and show him how to use his speed and how to finish. Grabner can be an amazing player. I will say this though it looks like Grabner has broken out and is using his speed and finding the holes now. If he can get going with Tavares flying out there I dont know this team could shock us

quite possibly the worst officiated game all season
- LetsGoIsles

The Isles get screwed at home every other game. It's unreal. They get better treatment in road games.

Except for the times he likes to practice his firewood-chopping swing in men's league games

Ok just to name a few:

Bob Bassen
Sven Butenschon
Tom Chorske
J.J Daigneault
Craig Darby
Drew Fata
Steve Junker
Tom Kurvers
Justin Mapletoft.

I think any of them should make it into the Hall of Fame

- kasperrko

hahaha.. I used to love Kurvers as a kid.

Hextall actually had a winning record (by 1 game) so he wasn't terrible per say. How about Jeff Hackett and Tommy Sodestrom. Ugh!
- BringBackBalky

I hated Sodderstrom just for his helmet alone!

I'd like to see someone produce pads that have a design on them that looks like a net so the shooter can't tell where the pads end and the net begins
