JVR was the reward for sitting through a miserable 56 point season, sure every Flyers fan wanted the # 1 pick, but I'm not trading JVR for a guy who might become a first pairing dman. Screw that.

JvR MIGHT become a 30 goal scorer. he's not yet, and the further he moves into the season the harder it is for me to think he'll do that on a regular basis. plus the Flyers have plenty of other young forwards that project similarly. i get that's who the flyers were stuck w/ at #2 in 2007...but it doesn't mean it should cloud your reasonable projections.

Well from the most reliable reporters, like Dreger, it sounds like Schenn+ for JvR, or a deal that sees Schenn adn another guy for JvR and a pick

both...JVR is the superior talent and he's actually done something in the plyoffs. if he does indeed have a hip/ab issue, he should be judged in light of that.

i rather like kulemin. but the idea is for the leafs to add size up front, not swap with someone else.
