oh, ok. misunderstood. the only player on the ice at that time that could have done anything was Coburn and I don't know if he saw the hit or not. Wouldn't have expected Couturier or Read to have done anything (with any success).

Anyone else disappointed that no one from the Flyers stepped up after that hit on Max. I can't remember who was on the ice but someone should have gone right after staois. Or at least fired a puck at his head as he sat on the bench laughing. I'm sorry boys but that was sad. You know Max would have do something if someone on his line got hit like that.
- LJF

PLease correct me if I'm wrong, but it was a one goal game and we were struggling in our own zone and play continued. When would anyone stick up for Max then? I'm sure if Rinaldo / Shelley were on ice or suited up, pay back woul'dve happened. They play them soon enough. It won't go unnoticed for long.

Just my $.02

I was at the Flyers game in Buffalo when he got pulled and crowd cheered, Miller was pissed off and gave them the waive.

Yet it's only the Flyers fan base that gets ripped, funny stuff.

Cue the Bryz ++ for Miller ++ deal in 4,3,2,1......................

What's more disturbing the Flyers lack of response or Panotch's "reporting"?

Oh NOO!!! If anyone is interested in a very sweet cat, Morris Animal Refuge has an adult male Russian Blue. He's beautiful and I know those cats are amazingly sweet-natured and smart.

I got my Russian Blue from them about 8-9 yrs ago. awesome sweet cat

Camalleri said that Gauthier told him he had been working on putting a deal together for about a month or so? Fact or fiction?

Honestly. Every link I click to one of his articles these days is just a total waste of time. He's always trying to stir something up it seems. Always with the negative angle. I don't remember him being so much like that when I first got on here.

Absolutely correct. You mark it on the ledger and keep it in your memory. There was a game to be won and two points on the line. The League has changed. Players don't police it anymore. It used to be the next time Staios is on the ice, you send your enforcer out to send him a message that it's not okay. Both guys get 5 for fighting and it's settled. Now there would be instigtor penalties, and PP's given to the other team. You can't do that with the game on the line.

It's another example of a lack of respect on the ice.

Why would Rinaldo or Shelley be on the ice late protecting a lead.

Staois will be suspended.

Sure. But are you buying it was my question. I think it was cooked up the moment MC's comments hit the airwaves. No way you let a guy say that stuff and hang around after just bringing in a new coach and all.

More Dramaccio. Making something of nothing. They were trying to wrap up 2 points against a bottom feeder with 4min. left in a game that was 2-1 at the time. Good on the flyers for keeping their cool and finishing the game with a W and 2 points. They have 4 more meetings with the Isles. Plenty of time to look up Staios down the road. (frank)ing stupid tripe from Timmay.

The obvious angle that Tim missed and should have gone with is:
"Flyers show discipline and restraint in not retaliating in a close one goal game to get the win".

Feaster seemed to be pretty sincere about it, sounded like it really was the case.

He said the Camel and Bork part was 1st talked about and the rest was debated back and forth a few times.

That said I have no doubt it was cranked up a notch this week
