This might be the most ridiculous post ever written on this blg. And that's saying alot considering some of kasper's posts......j/k.
No one is saying Moulson over JT. But Moulson deserves to be there over others. - BringBackBalky
I was going to see that was even worse then my posts but you beatme to the punch |

Guys get hurt, Moulson may get into the game as an alternate. But I really don't have much of a problem with the selections. |

Which, if any, of the skills competitions do you see him in? Not being sarcastic just wondering. |

It was way before that but that certainly was a big factor. He shouldn't have even been on the team that year. |

Similar to your argument, some people think that adding Milan Michalek to the all star game is a complete joke and its part of the reason the ASG is embarrassing... but Michalek is 4th in the league in goals with 22. For a guy who's career high is 26 goals, he's having a pretty impressive year as well.
By the way, I do agree that Moulson should be on this roster. - Lohaus
We all knew Moulson wouldn't make it. But if Patrick Sharp is getting snubbed then Moulson certainly shouldn't be there. |

The Isles don't stink at some things. Ranked 5th in PP, 10th in PK. They are 30th in 5-on-5 play, though. |

Fans better show up to that game if they want the Islanders to stay local. |

Brooklyn means he can keep the team so he will stay. The guy has no intention of selling. if he moves to Brooklyn he knows he will make more money. Its closer to the city. |

Lets be honest... You're the owner of a team that has 3 years on a lease with possibility of selling them to another city. Would you let fan base know that's where they're headed so they can all bail the final 3 seasons and have it be a baron wasteland until they move, making you lose even more money?
Ethical thing would be keep us truthfully informed.
Real life scenario is to keep us in dark as long as possible so we don't jump the sinking ship. Although, we know many already have! |

In this case. Only if the destination is Brooklyn. Because its basically the same fan base plus several thousand. I believe most fans would be ecstatic to get the news that the Isles have a new home in Brooklyn. I think it may even increase attendance at NVMC over the final few years. Fans would know that they can still support the team and see games in the future. On the other hand, KC would put a fork in the Isles and their attendance.
But I see what your saying . Islander Fans are screwed! |

I was always under the impression that Wang wanted to own the facilty they played in, and the surrounding real estate to build up and make some money back that he's lost on this team. I can't see him being a tenant.
Sounds like he's trying to squeeze Nassau County. |

Wang should have been squeezing Nassau sooner. I'd love for the Isles to go to Brooklyn but I do not think Wang is interested. |

I think Nassau is out of time. Unless Isles continue to play @ NVMC while a new arena is being built. But The NHL has said that it will not permit the Isles playing here past the 2015 dead line. Dito as per Wang. |

Willets Point is the best solution for Charles AND the Islanders.
Plenty of space for arena, practice facility, already with zoning approval, environmental impact etc, subway, LIRR, I-495, Laguardia and a ferry if I'm not mistaken.
Why is the most sensible solution always overlooked/decided against?????
It could even be sponsored by Geico. It's that simple. |
