i have come to the conclusion that the players are not to blame for the teams lack of success. i don't blame cammalleri, gomez, gionta, plekanec or anyone else. management made their decision on who the teams core would be comprised of and then never surrounded that core with the complimentary players needed to succeed. year after year, management has let the core group down. at a certain point, players get fed up with the ineptitude of management which has largely led the team to the point they're at today. - rob121

well said, good points, it was nyr management that gave gomez that stupid money and mtl management that was even more stupid for actually giving up a prospect like mcdonough for it...not gomez' fault at all.

We went to all of them...
EDIT: Really?
EDIT2: there is...Then I'm talking about the one in Florence... - number_23
Santa Maria Del Fiore, then .
The locals do refer to it as "El Duomo", because it's just that much better than the rest of them.
Also, very unfortunate about the Gionta injury, that is going to take about 50% of the heart out of this roster for the rest of this season.
Oh well, maybe things go really badly and you get to pick up Nail or something at the draft! Add him to the current roster and things would turn around quickly.
As much as id hate to see him go, we all know the potential is there for cammalleri but maybe a deal should happen to shake things up. The obvious have all been spouted off, ryan, nash and other likely trade partners...What about the sens, they are looking for top six guy, hopefully a scorer so how about a cammalleri/spezza/alfredson line. But what in return right? Nick Foligno maybe, Foligno and a pick? Hes the type of player mtl could use and is attainable without breaking up the good things mtl do have going for them as well as give them some cap flexability. It would mean a shake up in the lines but would add a lot to the team

Hate to say it but, they should really try and do a "quick rebuild" à la Ottawa.

Nick Foligno has twice as many goals this year as Cammalleri plus grit.
