Agree but they might be willing to trade for him. Brown is probably not available, you're right.
- sEb_666

the habs are a mess, remind me alot of the bruins when they were picking 5th and 8th overall...but look at the bright side, all you gotta do is get a new GM and a new coach (both being worked on) sign a chara type (shea weber) and a top forward (parise) then trade cammelleri for 2 1sts and a 2nd and in 4-5 years they will be relevant again.

if they cant do this easy task then they are in trouble...

When are you going? Because i'll be in the North this summer so you might want to think about the south.

Possibly during summer, during construction break. We'd prefer avoiding the biggest crowds and appreciate villages and such.

The problem is we don't like to pay 8,000,000 for top talent...we prefer to save a bit and only pay 7,500,000....for mediocre talent...

But you need to be a bumhole to ask for more ice-time when you play like poop. And he adds he's playing the best hockey of his career. Gimme a (frank)ing break please

EDIT: Late

- Habsody

yeah, douche move but big deal. this team has a recent history of treating its most skilled players like garbage, as soon as they have a bad season, or month, or shift.

zednik, ryder, ribiero, koivu, kovalev, even bloody tanguay was having a good year and we got rid of him in the off season.
kostitysn has been one of our most consistant forwards the last few years, but apparenly almost everyone wants him gone too.

if everybody wants quiet little boyscout, polite, follow the crappy system players, lets just find 12 darche clones, and 6 hal gill clones, lose 99% of our games, but be happy that they aren't 'big meanies'

That thing is actually quite impressive...it's one of my wife's favorite memories of our trip...

The climb up is quite interesting, but once up there, the view...WOW!

i think your giving gomez too much credit by calling him mediocre lol...montreals biggest problem is getting players to go there without overpaying alot...i have tons of buds that are hab fans and when they lost koivu kovalev etc i told them they are lucky and are going to finally rebuild the right way, but getting gomez obviously meant they were retooling with the ultimate tool lol. montreal wont be relevant again until they get crosby in 2 years. then watch the players come.

Phil Esposito was hired as general manager and vice president of the New York Rangers in 1986 and had an interesting front office career. The impatient commander made 43 trades in his three years at the helm, fired two head coaches and took over behind the bench just before the playoffs in 1987 and 1989.

Seriously...the habs of years past balk at giving top dollar to top talent...but then have no qualms about overpaying for whatever is left...

The Expos had 18th-round draft pick Tom Brady take BP yesterday. Brady, a left-handed-hitting C, is from nearby Serra High School, the same school that produced Barry Bonds and Gregg Jefferies. Jefferies's father coaches there. There's some work to be done getting Brady signed, however. He's signed a letter of intent for a football scholarship at Michigan as a QB. -The Montreal Gazette, June 12, 1995
