I'm very worried about the Flyers. This whole Schenn for JvR just doesn't make sense to me.
- Schenn2shine

Calm your nerves. It's not happening.

If Gustafsson doesn't play in place of LoLja in Nashville, I'll eat my hat.

It may make a shred of sense if they think Schenn can be a future top pairing D-man and if they think Pronger is pretty much done for a long time, if not for good.

No sense in worrying now. Dreger said tonight that that specific deal isn't on the table. Worry about it if it happens.
- Jsaquella

Yeah. Toronto has not offered Schenn in any deal. They just have interest in JVR and probably would like to know if hes available.

he's better than that ... except for those moments when he's not, which seem to happen every other game or so.
- FlyerGuy

he's really been excellent for the majority of the season, and great to see him not follow up his great game in carolina with a clunker or a bad goal tonight.

if we hurry up, maybe we can steal subban from goofy gautier.

pk not afraid to throw his weight around vs the Bs tonite...needs to grow up a little, but he brings a well rounded game.

Obviously. But to minimize Bobrovsky's performance tonight due to who the opponent was, is off base. The Flyers played like the bottom feeder. Bobrovsky had to make some very difficult saves to keep them in it. And was the team's best player tonight. I don't care who it was against.
- MJL

I didn't minimize Bob's performance at all. I said he played good. No question about it. Very good, even. The only other thing I said was that Bob has played a few softer opponents than Bryz this year, which I think should be taken into account on the whole Bob vs. Bryz argument.

I didn't see any replies but would a more even trade be JvR and a second for Schenn and Kadri?

Personally, I like JvR and a second for Tyler Myers and Zach Kassian.

A little out there but whatever

Not at all. The Flyers know he is playing injured. They just signed him to a deal, they aren't going to give up on him. And certainly not for Luke Schenn.

yeah, I agree. I know a few other times I wanted to get behind him after a really good effort, only to have him let in one or two softies the next game.

I hope there isn't any interest in giving up any of the young forwards for a d-man unless it is Weber. All of the young guys including JVR are going to continue to grow and get better.

"Goofy" Gauthier just traded a discontented guy, with a huge cap hit for a solid power winger and a prospect who has 56 points in 39 games in juniors.

Because no one is untouchable doesnt mean there giving them away. Your going to have to find a deal that both teams can agree on. There are probably a ton of deals that fall through.

I'd rather have Myers, too. Who knows, Buffalo could be a busy team if Pegula decides to shuffle the deck.
