Very little went well today but they won and that is all that matters. Every guy on that team owes Bob dinner for how well he played. Plus he had another shutout.

All this for an overpaid "sniper" getting traded?

Right when I saw some stuff about Calgary on Twitter, Ek's post comes up saying "Florida or Columbus". Hilarious

did the nhl move up the trade deadline to tonight, or is the cammaleri trade that big of a deal?

they sucked again tonight against a bottom feeder, and won because of bob, who was OUTSTANDING.

thank you columbus. thank you mononucleosis.

this site blows donkey balls.

Talbot played 20 minutes tonight.
- MJL

I'm sure he did. He just looked like he was really fighting it tonight. Overall he's been great but tonight (like the rest of the team) he didn't seem at his best. And that was before Staios tried to crush he head like a grape. I'll say this for him, guy has a head made of concrete and he's one tough sob. An off game every once in a while a small price to pay for a warrior like Talbot.

A tiny trade and the server blows chunks.

I think when you see players like JVR playing 10 minutes, and Simmonds playing 11 minutes, and then Talbot playing 20 minutes, which is well over his per game average. That's a pretty good indicator of who the Coach feels is playing well.

I would have posted a lot more insightful commentary about tonight's game if not for this constant 500 Internal Service error.

and for the past month everyone is outplaying the Flyers it just so happens Bryz gets fed to the lions and Bob is out there against bottom feeders, considering the circumstances I'd say both are doing good but their numbers are as much a result of their circumstances as it is their play.
- JoeRussomanno

I completely agree with this. Bob looked good tonight ... and last game. But it certainly helps him a bit to play against some of the bottom feeders.

I don't care who the opponent was. Still some very tough saves that he made, and he basically won the game for the Flyers. That is was against the Islanders was irrelevant. Still an NHL team.

Flames get the best player, but Bourque is a big dude who can score some points. Also, Habs lose $6mm cap hit and a guy who was clearly not happy there.

I go Habs as the win, but Cammalleri could get rejuvenated in Calgary
