when ever Bob looks like he's ready to take the next step he pulls a Niitty

I expect he'll give up 3 in first and Bryz will start the 2nd and the Flyer will roar back with a 5-4 win.

It's the Flyers, they never ever do the norm.

go Flyers

I totally agree. Now I expect Bob to have a good game, he will get lit up in the first. For some reason I feel like the Islanders always give the Flyers fits in the first period when their home. I have no stats to prove this but it feels like it to me atleast.

Yea me 2 but the way I see it, the flyers will lose Carle for nothing in the off season because they wont be able to resign him....and read and that first might not turn out into anything great.... So the biggest lose would be JVR

Read is a 25 year old Rookie who is going to score close to 30 goals this year. He has 35 goal 2 way all situations Winger written all over him. He isn't just a throw in.

there's a douchebag islander fan who wears a metallic tinsel wig under his hat, parading around the glass in a jersey and goalie glove, yelling stupid things. i'm convinced he distracts them.

Doesnt really matter until Homer makes the deal. We can spend months talking about deals but it means zero. People just trying to be creative.

Pens have been dropping in the standings like Crosby after a run-in with Derian Hatcher...maybe there is a trade there! Shelley, Walker and a fourth for Orpik! Get It Done Holmer!!!!

- Lexington Flyer

haha Man the way we have been dropping I don't think we can afford trades that don't give us guys that can score. Also, I've read enough comments here to know Shelley and Walker are worthless let alone goal scorers.

We need to go to a game together some time and loudly correct every incredibly stupid comment from the people behind us. Because it happens way too often to me that there are complete morons behind me "impressing" their friends or teaching their kids with their hockey "knowledge."

It's a pick a big name player and rip him syndrome because you think others will think you're in the know.

When Nittymaki was coming up he was the next big thing in net. Considered to be very talented, quick side to side. Very similar to today.

He is in the dog house at the moment with some fans. He hasn't changed the game plan at all since the injuries. 210 Man games lost so far, you have to go to a more defensive system like last year. Yes its boring but its what you gotta do to stay afloat.
