serious question, how can Myers even sniff the top 20?

he was lost on the ice more often then not in his last season and a half

this is not a fantasy keeper league, it's who are the ten best d men in the nhl right now

- homiedclown

Disagree. From 1 year ago to the beginning of this year, he was excellent. He didn't start off well, I agree, but I'd take Myers on my team before Phaneuf. He cares more about hair gel and hitting midgets than being a winner.

Staal has played like 5 games this years, i cant put him on that list. I think Timmonen's best days are behind him. Lidtrsom is a once a generation guy, unreal.

explain the bolded ones please on how they are better then phaneuf
- matt1337

Streit is a no brainer, hes one of the most underrated players in the league because hes committed to the islanders, for some reason.

How am i supposed to explain it though, just players from the hockey i watch that i feel are better or interchangeable.

He was having a bad year in 2010....I completely agreed with not having him on the team.
No one is saying he's the best dman in the league.....he's simply not overated...just overpaid.

- Fakepartofme

in its simplest terms, he is a good player, but when Buffalo plays TO I'm not like "oh crap, they have Phanuef"

I think "Didn't Crosby own him in World Junior camp when 87 was only sixteen years old?"

Purposely leaving Myers off to avoid incoming troll comments, it really wasnt hard to name 15 off the top of my head that i'd rather have or are basically interchangeable for Phaneuf

- robz228

That took a while.....off the top of your head eh? Sure.
I agree with the bolded.

Based on what are they claiming these guys are overrated? Is there some master list of player rankings that they're comparing against or are they just pulling names out of their @ss? The only way I think you can rate a player is against his salary.

The list is a joke anyways.

Phaneuf,Komisarek,Gomez, Heatley are among names in that top 15..

When yet, almost everyone poops on them and have nothing good to say about them.

Pronger and Iggy over-rated? right...

Anyone look at the under-rated list? apparently Datsyuk and Giroux are under-rated.

It's a joke relax, it just sounds like you have something against Phaneuf with your comment about his hair and midgets.
