I don't think you'd get an argument from any Devils' fan. Foster is useless.

Glad we get two points though.

I feel like he's garbage on the PP because the PP sucks. But in general he is garbage and I would rather see Tao out there.

he is, but the thing is he may be our best PP dman and his shot does change how the other team plays us on the penalty and has opened up kovy and others, creating a seam even if he doesnt touch the puck, and he did have a ton of assists in tampa

not saying he is good at all, he just may be our best option, he does make our pp LOOK more dangerous, hopefully it will be

larsson will (hopefully) be our point man on the PP in the future, but right now he isnt ready, id like to see him shoot more, havent seen him in the offensive zone as much lately

fayne, well he is decent, has a deflectcable shot, but he isnt going to really wow you or create much on the pp

tallinder, not really a pp guy

the best we can do is get guys open and create seams, foster is the best option with our current dmen

hedberg had a very good bounce back game which was needed in a big way

we need our offense to start getting sustained pressure and to score more, the oilers were missing alot of their regulars, and dont have a strong defense, and we had little pressure and didnt really seem to create that much

it seemed like we were just skating through the game and just hoping that something happened rather than making something happen

Kovy and ZPar each have 27pts in their last 22 contests now (Kovy=13 goals and ZPar=9 goals)... Pretty solid go to guys. That's guys (plural) for those who blew Zach's comments about not being the go to guy out of proportion. Every Crosby needs a Malkin. Every Datsyuk needs a Zetterberg. Every Kane needs a Toews... Holy smokes! Look at that... All the hard working guys who were shadowed a bit by the skill of their teammates on those Cup winning teams also got the Conn Smythe. Not saying the Devils are winning the Cup this season with the problems at the back end but Parise can still be a go to player with Kovy around as well.

(Before people jump down my throat about Datsyuk and Sid not being hard working, I wasn't referring to that for them but rather their natural pure skill being in the main focus of the media)

Sure, Foster isn't great defensively but he doesn't poop like Toarmina does.

the only people saying parise wants to leave coz of kovy being the go to man, parise isnt the star player or who we look to on the devils anymore just hasnt seen the devils play, kovy sets up parise, just like parise sets up kovy, its just a matter of who is in a better position at that time

both have stated that in interviews

the can both coexist perfectly well on the same team

They played some footage during one the the intermissions of Zach saying that he likes playing with Kovy. Said something like they feed off of each other.

I hope he stays, otherwise your going to sucks ass next year, and you can try to defend that all you want, just means your in denial. You cant knock them out with a one two punch, if you only got the one punch.

Well if Parise counts as a punch then so should Henrique and Elias...

Henrique is a boy who knows how to catch scraps when their thrown at him, and good for him, because a lot players in the NHL cant do that. Elias is a vet and very underrated player who gets it done time to time, but none of those two are punches at this point in time.

Catch scraps? Both Kovy and Parise's numbers have gone up since his emergence. Henrique is the first center on NJ to actually have chemistry with Kovy. Henrique is the first center on NJ to be able to play with Parise and Kovy on the same line. Sure his linemates help his numbers but helps them out just as much.

Elias is also out-producing Parise this year...and has been our most consistent player for the past two seasons...

Catch scraps? Have you seen him get break aways? Or any of his goals for that matter? Also Elias is more than a time to time player.

If he can't play a full season and get to 80 points then he isn't an 80 point player.

You're only trolling yourself here because everybody is assuming you suffer from brain damage or AIDS.

This post is hilarious.

The first post was predictable. I highly doubt you watch every devils game. If you do I invite you to be on this board for every game, after all you should be watching.

I mean the second part doesn't make sense. Because Hemsky isn't an 80 point player Elias and Henrique aren't impact players?

And I also want to know how Elias, putting up almost a ppg, only gets it done "from time to time".

Sure thing buddy see you Saturday, let make it a date.

Ok ok ill give in on Elias, because is he just under a point per game player, but hes not clutch, and if you think that then you do have goggles on.
