Why has his line been shut down the past 3 games? What needs to happen to get them going?

That is some nice money. $600 bucks in your pocket when you are 18 with no bills. Can't beat that.

I was 15, and still getting handouts from my Parents.

If I wanted a moped, car, or other conveyance, I needed to work to at least help with insurance and I had to pay for gas myself.

My uncle would get condos at the shore, and we'd go paint from 6 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday, and I'd go meet him after school when I wasn't working at the supermarket.

I worked harder then than I do now

It's amazing to think that if Backlund wasn't hurt we probably wouldn't have had to sign a back up goalie to a 9 year contract.

Hater. I am frustrated with him too. I'm not giving up on him yet, he has shown to be a great goalie.

I hear you. Working as a kid was to buy beer and neat junk, now it all goes to the Government and bills.

Oh yeah, if my cheap parents would have just bought me the 1976 Trans Am I could have spent all my cash on beer and pot, instead of beer, pot and insurance.

Ferraro was talking this morning about how embarrassing it is to be an alum of that franchise these days.

Did Capuano really call a timeout last night with 22 seconds left in the game and a 5-2 lead?

- rockychocbill

it's beyond embarrassing. i feel badly for isles fans. kind of.

and yes, he did.

I think my insurance was more expensive when I started driving in 1993 then it is now.

Mine was for sure. I'm paying like $125 a month for full coverage on two cars. Back then it was around that for liability.

Of course, that it was a muscle car with a big ass engine and a poopload of horses didn't help.

I really hope Capuano just had a brain fart and didn't mean to call the TO there.

I don't know if he was giving his guys a breather from an icing, or what the situation was. I'm trying to figure that out.

Ferraro said that when asked about it Capuano said his team was tired and injuries can happen when you're tired. Sounds like it was no BF.

Yeah, 18 years old in a fast car, is going to be considered high risk.

It was an icing, with 21 seconds left and a 5-1 lead. It's possible he just didn;t recognize the time and situation fully.

Babcock was hilarious

It was a funny reaction for sure. Even if guys are out of gas after a long shift in that situation, he shouldn't have called a time out. Worst case scenario is the game ends 5-2 instead of 5-1
