$300 is a huge bet 20 years ago. I had a calm feeling all along, I knew Norwood would miss that kick. When they showed his face seconds before the kick, you could see the utter terror on his face.

I like LA and Franzke, too. Good chemistry in the booth. JJ is solid at baseball. He;s actually good at hockey when it's not the Flyers. No whining about "They're gonna call that_____!!" or "Ill Humor".

That said, Jackson is nowhere near the worst guy in the NHL at his job. When he's not whining, he's fine.

Really? Cool. I am getting comped by one of our suppliers for that game. It was originally supposed to be the Sens game last month. Let me know if you find tix or need help finding some. I have a broker I deal with.

My neighbor might sell me his, 3rd level, end where the Nucks shoot twice.

Canucks I think are screwed with Luongo.
Schneider looks like an A1 starter to me.

maybe they should trade him back to the islanders. they can get rid of their other 42 goalies, and between himself and dp, they'll hit the cap floor.

I swear, he's funnier than the comedy channel. He gets all worked up and curses on the air and doesn't even notice...then they get his brother on and there's two of them.

years ago when hes was doing color with sam rosen on rangers games, i swear he once said "he hit the (frank)ing post!"

That's funny and maybe true but we also get Franson in the deal. Luke is a pretty tough customer and truth is as talented as JVR is he is streaky, does not throw punishing checks and always seems injured or playing not 100%. Schenn and Franson for JVR is a done deal in my books and in no way is that blowing up the team. We have ample forwards and could use help on defence so this deal makes sense if we could only get BB to agree.
- flyerdude17

I would rather do Carle and JVR for Weber if it was me....We have too many 3-8 defensemen in the pipeline.... I think if you are trading JVR for a defensemen it might as well be one of the better ones in the league.....

Tough thing to ask a kid to kick a Super Bowl winning 47 yard FG when the longest FG he kicked all year was from 48 yards out. He stood up and answered all the questions after the game. I gave him a lot of credit.

I was 18 and I worked with my uncle painting houses and at a local supermarket...not a bad payday for a kid with no bills

The job with my uncle was feast or famine, and i had just gotten a $600 check from him the Friday before.

Ferraro was talking this morning about how embarrassing it is to be an alum of that franchise these days.

Did Capuano really call a timeout last night with 22 seconds left in the game and a 5-2 lead?

It's amazing that that was the high water mark for those Bills teams. They had so many good players, and they never played in another close Super Bowl.

That is some nice money. $600 bucks in your pocket when you are 18 with no bills. Can't beat that.

I was 15, and still getting handouts from my Parents.

It's amazing to think that if Backlund wasn't hurt we probably wouldn't have had to sign a back up goalie to a 9 year contract.
