It's not true. If it was Dreger would break it.

So would Bob He will come back to haunt the flyers one day. He will prove that he was what the flyers were looking for but he got away because they did not realize what they had. Make it happen Homer, reunite the Schenn bros and give Bob a starting job where he will be more appreciated. Actually Bob is pretty much appreciated by most and not by just a handful of people not knowing their poop.

You're doing a great job of following your own advise and letting it rest.

Actually, Bobrovsky is pretty much well liked by everyone on this board who regularly posts. Not too often he gets ripped.

I'm detecting some hostility. You humans and your emotions

No hostility, honest, just playing. I really like that other guy most of the time

Actually, the local national guard unit is returning today from Iraq-Welcome Home, folks!-and I got caught in the middle of the procession. Made great time until I got to the Garden State Parkway...and I needed to hit a rest room, badly.

I don't mind adding a young guy with that kind of upside. Same goes with Luke Schenn.

He's taken a step back, but it's rare that a young defenseman has a totally linear progression from rookie to veteran...usually there's ups and downs.

- Jsaquella

The problem with Luke Schenn is, the Leafs are in the position of power in that trade. I'm sure we have plenty of pieces they would love to have but nothing I personally would like to give up. When trading for Luke Schenn, you aren't giving up something small, you could be breaking off a big piece of our team. I'm sure the Leafs would love to have Brayden as much as we would like to have Luke. At least the Leafs could offer up Nazim Kadri for Brayden Schenn and that might be fair straight up. We can't say the same thing for Luke.

The Flyers are going to have to try and add two defenseman. They cant rely on Pronger and who knows what is going to happen with Carle. I know they can sign/trade for one now or in the summer. They have some guys who look alright but I dont know if Gustafsson, Bourdon, Lilja, Walker, etc. are good enough to play an entire season.

23 yr old kid, hard worker, with a 37-16-9 career record in 1+ year of North American hockey. Also a solid career save % of .916. I don't think there is anything to dislike about Bobrovsky. I think the kid has the will and work ethic to make himself elite.

Absolutely. Luke Schenn would be very expensive. I think that if a deal is going to happen with the Leafs, Franson is more likely, just because of potential cost.

That said, Holmgren's like a riverboat gambler. He likes to pull the big score-or deal as it was.

Just my view on a post that speculated a Bob to TB. Letting it rest was about a different discussion

All kinds of fake accounts out there. Unless I see something from Bob M or Dreger I don't buy anything.

Well, they can wait on replacing Carle in the summer. If they add Luke Schenn or even a fairly young vet like Gleason, and keep them, they could still let Carle walk and sign Suter.

What I really want to know is who that woman was who grabbed him on the way to the locker room after the game. She should got his attention.

Per Notch he had no translator there with him last night so it wasn't her.

I remember my shock when Pronger was traded here just after Tarvares was drafted.

Exactly. Even when Bob has a bad game, there's more people defending him than ripping him.

I want him to play great as long as he's a Flyer. Wanting the same for Bryzgalov isn't being anti-Bobrovsky.

I didn't see the post-game. I have to watch the games on Center Ice, I live outside the market. (For now)

Yep you still managed to take little pokes at people, didn't you?

Again, for a guy who criticizes others for trying to get into arguments, you sure do a great job of getting into them.

Like I said earlier.. if Prongers conditions dont improve and he and his family decide to call it quits.. just not officially, we could have both Carle and Suter.

I am not afraid to admit it, I think Bob is very special

He is very unlikely to fail because he has his head screwed on right and is a superb athlete and just needs time to put it all together like all great young players.

I remember the first report said Lupul and Sbisa and I was ecstatic. Then they said a first was involved, and I was like, well that's OK...then there was another first and I started thinking, Jesus, if this keeps up, there's going to be nothing left!

For the Flyers to be successful they need both guys playing well. I didn't think I would ever see the day when the Flyers had a Russian goalie, let alone two.
