THANK YOU!!
Apparently my comment was worthy of a turrets outbreak calling me a moron and many other 4 letter words. - Juice
leafs with parise are a contender.. they have the depth ready right now to fill in the hole they create with the trade if it happened. |

Not for a rental they wouldn't......shake yer (frank)in head pal - jimdavis
Where did I say rental!? Go show me please! There've been many stars sign and traded over the years, and I bet my bank account on that if Parise got traded at the TD, or draft, he'd be signed immediately. |

Really...are we using "higher in the standings" as a difference maker between one or two moves away from being a contender because of 1 point? - Juice
Juice box, the leafs are not contenders. They are in the same general area as NJ, the "sniffing around the bubble" territory. Accept it. If all he cares about it playing in June, it won't be in Newark or Toronto. |

Name the last GM to do a sign and trade near the deadline? If Parise is traded at any point this season its as a rental player. |

He coached a MUCH stronger SJ team to nothing...given the roster he had he accomplished nothing.
He's a good coach...but he's not the coach this team needs to succeed.
Let me change my "good" to "the right" coach. - Juice
how has the new coach done? |

Are you actually that retarded? Of course it would give us a good chance to sign him but say he walks. Then we just lost schenn a valuable shut down dman and Kadri who one day is probably gonna be a 60-80 guy for a cpl months of Parise and no cup.
You sir are the moron - SameOld
Kadri's gonna get 140 points one day!?
Holy (frank) dude you're stupid! It goes -goals-assists-points. And I highly, HIGHLY doubt Kadri will ever be an 80 point guy. 75 max. |

They would still need decent and consistent goaltending if Wilson was still here.
Everyone talks about how deep Toronto is on D, yet their D NEVER steals a game for the goalies...I can't remember the last time I watched a game and thought "Wow, our goalie must've been bored that game".
For all the D they apparently have, their system needs to capitalize on that and make the goalies life easier and not rely on fantastic goaltending in order to win. |

I think you're clearly an idiot if you think Burke would give up that much with no guarantee's the guy would be on the team for longer than two months. |

I get that...I'm just having trouble with how you said the NJ is a move or two away but Toronto is not even WITH Parise.
Clearly you must understand why 1 point in today's standings does not reflect such a difference in what you said. |

I don't think we can carry on this conversation if we're going to pretend that NJ is a move or two away from being a cup contender.
NJ is a goalie, a few solid dmen and a few depth forwards away from contention...not a move or two. - Juice
pfft. Lou Cloned Brodeur like 7 years ago. Guy's been on accelerated growth hormones and playing in the KHL for like 3 yrs now. Ol' Marty will sign a 5 yr extension this summer, then show up in training camp looking 21 yrs old again, and credit it to clean living.
