Just my opinion...I think Parise would make a geat rental player for the Bruins if they can find a way to clear some cap space. They can afford to give up to as high as a 1st without really hurting their future |

The list was a survey of 161 current NHL players. - Urethra Franklin
Well those 161 players are idiots. How the (frank) is Pronger, Kesler and Iginla overrated? Those other players must just be jealous. |

and a hardy "good luck"....no one in the NHL is gonna sell the farm for a rental...They might be willing to add some sort of re-signing clause for maybe a 1st in 2013 |

Okay we get it....no one expects anything of substance or from S.I. regarding hockey.
I wouldn't be surprised if the poll was fake or at the very least aged. It seems like it is from over a year ago...and they finally decided to use it now. |

they should move him at the deadline, especially seeing as he is not going to resign. as a devils fan I feel we'd be better off getting something in return. Kovalchuk can do mostly everything parise can do, and he can do a lot of things better. Not only that but Kovy is a game changer, and with his new found success in the shootout, Parise's shootout expertise are no longer needed. The devils have a surplus of leftwingers, and could make a deal at the deadline for a solid, maybe even a good right winger. Even if they don't get that much in return it's fine, its saving capspace because the devils are going to need to find money to sign a new free agent goalie anyway, and everybody knows that the market for free agent goalies is a frenzy, and if a team needs a goalie, they will go to whatever lengths necessary to get their guy (ex. Philly, Vancouver, etc.), so the devils need to be prepared to get in a bidding war. Signing a guy like Cory Schnieder or Tuuka Rask will benefit the devils much more especially seeing as they already have their star left winger. We'll see what happens, but lou will do the right thing. |
