Just because something happens all the time doesnt mean its not unprofessional. The guy was making fun of the organization who he was representing on the air. Mistake or not........its unprofessional.

Yeah but dont ever forget that Butchie was a hell of a player. He was goofing around with Jiggs last night rocking his stanley cup ring in the post game. Those two reminded me of the good ol' days with the isles. Butchie can suck all he wants at commentating, but the guy has rings to show he knows the game....

Truth be told, anyone is better than Joe Michelletti. When he went to the Strangers to replace JD, I couldnt believe we ended up with Jaffe and they got Michelletti. Somehow the mickey mouse organization that we have ended up with the talent.........albeit short lived!! Ahhh now thats the isles I know.

Cohen belongs in radio though he got that voice for it. He is not my favorite I miss the day of Ralph Kiner to behonest when he could still speak.

Howie's fine. Butchie has to go. He sucks. They should have kept Howie and Jaffe together. The teams sucked, but at least the broadcast was good to watch.

Im 35 and I dont get offended by baseball, I just dislike it. I dislike the fact that it could be the NHL playoffs, and on the back of the paper is about Pitchers and Catchers reporting. ONe year i remember the stanley cup was won, and and the next day had the Yankees on the backpage.

My problem with baseball is that its a game of stats. Guys can talk baseball on the radio all day long, about HRs and RBI's and who's batting what from the left side of the plate with the sun in there eyes. But, the stadiums have different sizes........and a homerun in one ballpark isnt the same as another. SO for that the biggest stat in baseball, the homerun record is skewed.

Plus the fact that guys can play the sport while chewing tabacco is a joke to me........

My dad tells me he knows the game cause he was amazing in the past. I am with you Vukots Butchie has to be the worst announcer I have ever heard in my life. Does not know anyones name, does not even watch the same game and he is mean. I went to say hi to him one time when I saw him walking at the Collisieum and he made believe I was not there. I screamed at him like Hello and he totally ignored me and the guys near me said he is a well cant say it here. After taht I lost respect for him. Hearing him on TV is just atrocious. I dont know I guess it is better the Deb Placey who I can see ebing the next person in line OY VEIGH!!

Garth Snow will not put his neck out since the Ryan Smyth mess. He couldnt be more conservative with his moves. He just adds assets.......even when they arent needed. A real GM is able to add pieces that are needed and create a team based on what they think the team needs to win............Garth just adds anyone and everyone who is available, regardless of need.

hockey is the number one sport in my mind and baseball pisses me since I am a Mets fan and I rather watch paint dry then that real bad team.

I think hockey is a true sport and that baseball has to many question marks. Who is on steroids whois not.Same teams make the playoffs every year and to be honest it is getting kind of boring

I agree. I do not get what's entertaining about baseball? There is no action and rarely any excitement. The only thing I like about it are the stadiums. When I go to a game I spend more time around the arena in the restaurants or shops than watching the actual game.

I guess Wang is just keeping up with hiring unqualified people for every position. He was being taken care of and that was working on the pregame. He should have stayed there so he couldn't embarrass himself for 3 plus hours every night instead of an hour with the pre and post game

Smith is a douce. He put the kings in a corner this offseason as well and demanded a trade to just Edmonton and Lombardi got nothing back. He hurt them more then us. Kings really miss him and they got nothing in return.
