LOL that would be awesome. Problem is Bob was funny Butch just wants to fool eveyone into thinking he knows what he is talking about it. I mean the biggest hint he is a drunk is when he said Nino Nieterweiser. Maybe he was drink Budweiser at the time I dont know and he said it like twenty times

FIOS - XBOX NHL12 question if anyone knows?

Im thinking of making switch to fios now that MSG, MSG2 and PLUS are in HD.
Fios has sick deal of $120 every channel, plus 25/25 Mbps internet and free DVR for life.

My question - Does anyone play NHL12 with fios. Someone told me there is issue where you cant connect to play on Xbox live due to capability with EA servers. Can anyone that has fios tell me if this is true or its fixable?

wow usually I am this angry in the morning. Today just battling depression so it will be on the down low but man. I agree on some points though but Howie has grown on me well only becuae I actualy know him personally but whatever

Im glad isles won last night. Way to close out close game. The reality is Pavelec is only reason why isles did not blow them out.

John Tavares continues to have about 4-5 great scoring chances a night. I would not be suprised to see a night when you scores a hattrick again. Thursday would be ideal.

Nino almost scored. Bailey and Okposo continue to play great.

First game in a while where I didn't feel compelled to find something else to do while it was on in the background. I know they beat Minny a few days ago, but that game was just as boring as the one before it. This one though kept me interested. Great pace, a few goals, some hitting, great saves...unfortunately mostly on the other end of the ice...there was a bit of everything. And a W at the end, which is nice.

Okposo really needs to attend the Trevor Gillies fighting camp next time he holds one. Full marks and then some to KO for immediately jumping to Nielsen's defense, but if you go through the trouble of dropping your gloves, taking your helmet off, and circling the guy a few times, at least make sure you take a fighting major for your effort.

Nino was very close to putting two in the net. From right out in front like we've been hoping to see. Who would have thought...put him with a center who is actually playing some decent hockey and he gets a few quality chances in front.

Wish Tavares would have been rewarded with a goal. He had two good chances right in front of the net on one shift, but he pulled an Andy Hilbert both times.

Really cause Jiggs McDonalds voice to me means Islanders. Howie Rose is a Ranger fan, and could care less about hockey. "Who cares about this game, when do pitchers and catchers report". Real professional........i'll never like him. I never felt Jaffe gelled with him, and felt Butchie was more at ease with the long time islander play by play in the booth next to him.

Not that im losing sleep over it, but i feel like Howie takes a bunch of games off per year.......whats his deal?

What are you talking about? Howie is easily one of the best announcers in the game today.

Just know, I heard this on the radio this week, that you will be back to Cablevision or Time Warner in a couple years. 'Coincidentally' the same time Verizon finally got MSG in HD they announced they will no longer be adding to their FIOS system so they can concentrate on WIFI and Phone systems. They will continue to support their current infrastructure eventually selling it off to other cable providers (TW and the Dolans). You also may notice the advertising for Verizon phone systems on Cablevision and Time Warner now and the lack of PACKAGE advertising from all 3. looks like the big guys once again found away to work together and screw us instead of each other...

Is Fios really offering MSG in HD? I just switched to Time Warner because of the HD MSG and now they are going to black it out.

Rose cares a lot about the isles. He was frustrated like we all were at that time. It's tough to be good when your partner is terrible. Rose and micheletti and rose and jaffe were good together.

Fios is in hd now just keep in mind they don't have an overflow channel so msg+2 games will be in regular definition. Or what I call, poopty.

He takes a bunch of games off cause it is in his contract and they also have a contract with Jiggs that he announces a certain amount of games each year. So he has no choice. He chooses when he wants to take off.

The pitchers and catchers thing we were all thinking last year lets face it. After losing like 13 in a row iw ould have said the same thing plus it was the awesome Hofstra staff that Wang hired and they kept the mic on the whole time. Also Jaffe did gell with them they became real close friends an Howie even said he was the best he had next to him in a long time. I will say Butch would not gel with anyone as he is clueless out there
