we start 2 Cs, 2 LWs, 2 RWs, 1 F, 4 Ds, and 2 goalies nightly. pavelski wont start unless malkin or getzlaf isnt playing. I dont think sid is worth a pick that i could use for someone else. if he goes undrafted and is listed as an IR then sure i pick him up in throw him in the IR slot but hes not. he would take up a roster spot and im not for that.

I get what you are saying, but I'd Say the upside he offers is too much to ignore. Just by virtue of the fact that if someone else gets him and he comes back strong, a player of Crosby's caliber will tip the scales in a small league. In other words, Joe Pavelski ain't gonna put you over the top, but Crosby will likely do it for the other guy.

In a league of 20 teams, he went in our 5th round. It became a game of "where's he gonna go???"

Why is it surprising that Pittsburgh would be in the hunt for Turris? They need somebody to replace Crosby.
- flamminghead

Sid will be back, so no need to replace him.

As for Turris, you haven't been following Ek's MO. He has everyone, meaning fragile or overrated forwards, rumored to be going to Pittsburgh, but none of them materialize. All of Shero's deals are totally off Ek's sources radar.
