i recall when boxing was a must watch. my dad was a big boxing guy and used to watch with him.

he was also a huge rassling guy and after sunday breakfast it was wrestling time. followed by roller derby, the lone ranger and then the cisco kid. lol

that is so weird. i have heard a lot that roller derby was always on tv right after wrestling but either i came in too late or the stations around here didn't do that because i don't remember ever seeing roller derby. but i have always heard that wrestling and roller derby used to be kind of attached at the hip.

amazing how huge roller derby used to be in those days. saturdays was huge pro bowling days. my dad was a pin setter in his ute and carmen salvino was from the neighborhood so my dad was big fan of his. so we always watched it.
