ryan poles is holding an action for the #1 pick. and the local reporters are saying he is asking for 2 additional 1st rounders in 24 and 25 plus the swap and a 2nd this year. he even put it out there about trading fields and taking one of these QBs. he is playing poker. i think i like him.

and apparently the QB from florida has moved ahead or close to stroud and young after the combine.

I think Stroud is by far the best QB in the draft but what do I know?

making the pick is still an option but what i like about poles' thinking is he realizes one draft isn't going to fix the bears and if he can get multiple 1sts for dropping back, he will. the added 2nd would help, too. first day starters are pretty common from the 2nd round in the NFL.

i don't think it has anything to do with the carter situation. i think he is just trying to maximize assets to build something to last.

I think Stroud is by far the best QB in the draft but what do I know?

i am not really a fan of any to be taken that early. young is only 5'10". stroud is from OSU. nuff said. Richardson, the florida guy, didn't really impress me the couple times i watched him. he seemed pretty erratic throwing the ball. great runner. i really didn't see much of the other kid from Kentucky.

i liked hooker but he was more of a 2nd day to me. i didn't realize he was 26 tho.

Wentz got 2 1sts, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th

Even the Bills moving up to 7 took 2 1sts, 2 2nds, a late round pick, and Cordy Glenn; granted they started at 21.

I don't know how good these QBs are supposed to be(it's so nice to not have to give a poop about QBs. Sorry, Gramps)

i think someone will. either the nut in indy and the owner in carolina is putting pressure on his gm to get a QB.

best part is if not, poles can really throw a huge wrench into things and take one of the QBs off the board. i don't think he will but ya never know.

and its usually guys who underperformed in college. if it comes down between 2 guys who had productive career, then by all means take the guy who is the better athlete. give me football players. not track stars.
