will i be apprehensive if it ends up being a RB or a DE? yeah. i'd rather them come away with a top CB or WR but they shouldn't reach to fill one of those positions if there's a RB sitting there that's head and shoulders above talent-wise.

obviously the rb could be a really good player and Im not going to hate him just to be stubborn. But I reserve the right to lament if in 2 years from now they are still a mess in the secondary while the players taken by other teams in this draft full of cornerbacks start to develop and thrive.

there's always going to be multiple holes to fill at multiple positions and you could always make the case to take one of those players ahead of the corner (as they've seemingly done for years now), but i've had enough. just get it over with

Cook is dropping, so be it. This McCaffry talk is silly, he's a luxury pick. No doubt he'll be a dynamic player but they have bigger needs. At 14, you take the BA CB or trade back and pick up more picks. I'm scoping some other RBs
