So my tooth came through my lip. I didn't realize it was right through at the time, but later I was having a beer and it dribbled out the hole.

Same game, same player, different play, I cracked a rib.

3-4 weeks.

The Oilers poster Zombie has tried to do some analysis on it, and insists that, for the most part, who someone plays with plays a much smaller factor in their production than most think. There are some exceptions, in terms of chemistry, and in terms of players, but for the most part, it holds true.

Who the (frank) is Zombie?, some sort of hockey guru?
I do not give a rats ass what he said.
To pretend that playing beside a great play-maker does not factor into a players success is stupid.
it is a huge factor.
As a winger who are you going to score more with Richard Park or Brad Richards?

Well, sure. It may be a little exaggerated, but it's somewhat true. the Sabres are sparing no expense these days. He's going after it pretty hard.

Love that place.

If you can look past the 50s decor (by which I mean, it's been there since the 50s, not that it's retro) and the old lady waitress that smells like an ashtray, it's got great chicken.

I still fully support your believing it is if it continues to be what gets you through your day.

I think it depends. A winger on the Rangers would score more with Brad, but a winger on Geneve Servette probably will get more points playing with Park.

get in line behind the Sabres:

Iginla may be interested in waiving his NTC for another kick at Lord Stanley's Cup in Buffalo. Doesn't hurt the Sabres that Robyn Regehr is now a Buffalo Sabre. The arrivals of Regehr, Ehrhoff, and Leino into Hockey Heaven surely has sent a message to the NHL that Mr. Pegula is serious about winning multiple Cups in Buffalo in the near future.

- DoubleDown

This contrasts greatly with league owners who are only interested in winning ONE cup, or not interested in winning cups at all.

The fact that both CGY and Buff have cap issues make this deal unlikely.

Did someone piss in your corn flakes this morning?

As I said, while most people think it makes a huge difference, it seems to make much less of a difference than you think. Of course, there are exceptions. Cheechoo/Thornton.... Hull/Oates... Two huge ones that spring to mind.

LOL, fair enough.
I do not think that a player can turn a poop player into a superstar (obviously you have to have talent to begin with) but to say it is not a factor is false.
