yes. she eats seafood dog food because he is allergic to pretty much everything and gets very itchy.

but she's never seemed thrilled with the food. i mentioned maybe looking for something else even though we knew it would be hard to find an alternative that was seafood based. i don't know if it was because of what i said or if they just stumbled on something new but she has new food and she is so chubby already! she also seems more energetic now that she is eating more often. so i think it's good. she's cute with a belly and she seems to feel better.

my oldest weirdest cat was having food trouble too as he got older. their old food was apparently too rich so i switched them to a seafood one, my vet said a lot of cats don't do that well on seafood based diets which seemed weird but she was right so i switched again to a grain-free poultry one and that worked... maybe trixie had the same problem

i just know she didn't like it because she sometimes walked up to the bowl and looked at it but didn't eat any. then she would look kind of frustrated and just walk away.

also if you held a piece of that food in your hand and went to feed it to her she didn't want it. what dog does that?

if a piece fell out of the bowl on the floor she would just leave it there.

it was like she was only eating because she was starving and knew she needed food. you could tell she didn't like the taste of it.

I lucked out in that my dogs happily eat any food. They're still pretty young though. My childhood dog ran into the problems of just not digesting dog food very well. She was pretty sick for the last year of her life so we just fed her chicken and rice a lot. She basically became another person to make dinner for. My mom would buy foods at the grocery she liked.

Her last year was pretty tough but I know she really enjoyed every meal she got. We made sure of that

ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- Detroit Lions tight end Joseph Fauria finally explained how he sprained his left ankle, and the story is almost too unbelievable to be true.

Fauria said he missed two steps while chasing after his 3-month-old Pomerian/Husky mix, Lil' Rufio, at his apartment on Wednesday night. While bracing for a fall, he put his 265-pound frame on his left foot and sprained his ankle.

"He was about to pee and I was like, 'Come here you little ... nugget,'" Fauria said Monday at his locker with a boot on his left foot and crutches by his side. "And I was chasing him downstairs. I wasn't running but I was chasing him downstairs and I just misstepped and I reached with my left foot and I just didn't end up well."

He joked about the incident on Twitter.


Now I'm only concentrating on getting back on the field ASAP! Please no death threats to Lil' Rufio, he's just a pup!
