Crap, no clue hopefully not.

Couple good bands playing tonight at the bar as well, it's going to be trouble.

The guy having the party is loaded and his pool is almost grotto like, matters not to me because I'm cannonballing that pool for fun.

Beer and hockey...I get neither for a while.
First sleepless night with Thing 3.
I don't even know what day it is, but I can still whip up a mean breakfast

A good friend of mine calls her kids Thing 1 and 2 as well, funny that you do as well.

Sleepless night blow, I know them all too well.

Geeze, I didn't get to have that experience I college.
You must have been a hellraiser.

Do I get banned for that?

I wasn't one of the 7, I was the one from the bus that had to walk into the cop shop and get them out.

I'm typically good at getting out of trouble.

Do you think playing against the other teams top lines with two broken feet may have had something to do with it?

Sorry I shouldn't have asked you to think.

Interesting defensive stat re: Carter...

Goals Against per 60 Minutes on Ice (regular season):

JEFF CARTER: 2.64 - this trails behind Hartnell, Powe, Giroux, JVR, Lappy, Gagne, Richards, Betts and (the leader at 1.73 GA per 60 min on Ice) Dan Carcillo. Behind Carter are Leino, Briere and Asham.

- exlund

Fact #1: Carter isn't as lazy/deficient/enigmatic as the haters say...
Fact #2: Carter isn't nearly as good defensively/all-around/solid as the apologist would have you believe...

This debate will never end, lol.

Just to be clear, the stat adjusts for time on ice to a certain extent...it uses an actual 60 minutes played by that player (accumulated across multiple games as needed)...in other words the number isn't the number of goals scored against per game while that player is on the ice, rather, it's the number of goals scored against in 60 minutes of ice time for that player (5 on 5).
- exlund

I was getting at situational factors in general. Line matchups, etc. Either way, it's an interesting set of numbers.

To be fair, the numbers were similar during the regular seasson too, including when he wasn't playing injured and wasn't always against the other teams' top lines.

FWIW, I'm not a Carter hater...I like to think I take an objective middle ground in this argument. Sorta like Tomahawk...he seems to be pretty reasonable and seems to have a good grasp on things in most matters on here.

I want Carter re-signed...but he's going to have to show me more if he's going to get a contract that pays him significantly more than his current deal. I wouldn't want to lose other talented players just to sign Carts to some salary demand that's not commensurate with his on ice performance.

Can you show me were you found these stats?

I am impressed they keep them. I'd love to look up some other players on other teams?

Link please if you don't mind.
